Homework Set 1: Help Wiki Improve

As I told you in the class, the astronomy entries of Farsi pages on Wikipedia are poorly developed. It is very appreciable to help it improve, by translating the source pages into Persian. The reason is that I'm sure many students and normal people try Wiki to learn anything, but many do not know English.
This would be a part of your final grade. Since the pages are long I have decided that each page be done by two. So, choose a friend too.
1- Please choose an entry from the topics below, and email me (at moravveji [at] iasbs . ac . ir) your names (2 students for each entry). I will book that for you.
2- Deadline: Wednesday, 1 Ordibehesht 1389 = April 21, 2010. Note: The deadline is merciless.
3- Email me a Microsoft Word 2003 (*.doc) file of the source entry, and your translation. Put your names on top of the file.
4- We will try to upload the new pages on the Wiki site, so go to Wikipedia, and create your account.

Astro-entries on Wikipedia:

✓ = Handed in on-time; ☠ = delayed, but accepted.

Do not forget to contact me on any question you have; I reply at the moment I see your message. Try to learn from what you read and translate. Maybe, I evaluate it.
Happy Nowrooz, and Good Luck!

1- If you wish to present alone, then select from 'individual' part, otherwise from 'group' part.
2- Please email me soon, so that each paper would be assigned only to one individual/group.
3- In the email, please write your partner name, and suggest a day for your presentation.
4- Prepare well, since your friends and I will ask you questions.
