The Department of Biological Sciences at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) has started its research and educational activities in the Fall of 2008. Currently there are 8 Master students in each of Biochemistry and Biophysics disciplines. Other disciplines that are to be established in the department are: Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Bioinformatics. We encourage applicants from molecular life sciences in the above fields to apply for faculty position in our newly established Department. PHD candidates who would graduate within one year may also apply. Non-Iranian scientists may apply for one to two year(s) (extendable) as visiting scientist positions.
