The Department of Physics at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences invites applications for postdoctoral or visiting scientists positions. The current focus of the department is on condensed matter, optics, astrophysics and astronomy, and geophysics. Applications in these fields, as well as from a broader spectrum of theoretical and applied physics, such as mathematical physics, statistical mechanics, biophysics, atmospheric physics, etc., are encouraged.
