Faculty Positions in Biochemistry and Biophysics Program |
Biochemistry and Biophysics program at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), which is part of the Chemistry Department, initiated its formal activities in September 2008. Within the last five years research projects in the fields of enzymology, biophysics and drug DNA interactions have been done in the body of chemistry and physics departments, with an interdisciplinary approach. We encourage applicants in molecular life sciences to apply for faculty position in our newly established program. PhD candidates who would graduate within one year may also apply. We invite Iranian applicants to apply for full time faculty positions. Non-Iranian scientists may also apply for one to two year(s) as visiting scientist positions. Scientists who are ready to help us to develop the scientific activities in our new program and would also develop independent research projects are particularly encouraged to apply.
