Faculty positions in Earth and atmospheric sciences |
The Department of Earth Sciences of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences is a newly established department dedicated to research and graduate education in various geoscience disciplines. The current focus of the department is on geophysics, crustal seismology, geodynamics and tectonophysics. However, we encourage applications from a broader spectrum of fields including, geology, geophysics, hydrology, geodesy, and atmospheric sciences. We invite Iranian Earth scientists to apply for full time faculty, as well as postdoctoral positions. Non-Iranians may apply for one to two year(s) postdoctoral, or visiting scientist positions. We seek individuals who can develop independent research programs, teach courses, and supervise student theses.
